Ancient ambush organisms bred for subterranean warfare, these Insectoid Alien Evolved Lurkers are hulking bio armoured predators built to disappear beneath the battlefield and erupt into close range violence. Their layered carapaces, ribbed alien anatomy, oversized digging limbs and dense clusters of spikes give them the look of organisms engineered for survival in the most hostile war zones.

The designs evoke the classic burrowing Lurker archetype from StarCraft inspired sci fi warfare: patient underground hunters that turn apparently safe ground into a killing zone. Lurkers 1 to 3 represent different active attack poses, while Lurker 4 is presented in a low burrowed ambush pose emerging through sculpted rocky terrain.

These are substantial creature miniatures whose finished dimensions vary by pose. Lurker 4 is sculpted in a distinctive burrowed position with rocky terrain forming part of the presentation.

Understanding Miniature Scale

Miniature scale refers to the height of an average human figure standing upright. A 28mm scale human is approximately 28mm from foot to eye level, while a 32mm scale human is approximately 32mm from foot to eye level. Large alien creatures remain much larger than this reference height because of their species, pose and sculpt design.

Support Removal Safe Easy Method

Delicate models may ship with supports attached to protect fragile parts during transit. Run hot tap water that is hot but not painful over the supported area for 2 to 3 seconds. The supports soften quickly and can then be carefully peeled away. For smaller areas around claws, spines or thin anatomical details, carefully snip supports before removal.

Assembly and Model Preparation

High detail resin miniatures may require light hobby preparation. Remove supports, lightly sand where required, assemble any separate parts with superglue and prime before painting. Pinning can be useful for additional gaming durability on larger components.

Resin Handling Note

Occasionally a slight residue may remain from post processing. This can easily be removed with warm soapy water or make up remover wipes.

Post Processing Quality

Every miniature is professionally finished: washed in isopropyl alcohol, rinsed in hot water, fully UV cured and carefully inspected before dispatch. Supports are only left where required to protect delicate parts.
