Teng serves as the navigation officer aboard the USCSS Maginot in Alien Earth, the Weyland Yutani vessel returning to Earth after a decades long mission collecting dangerous extraterrestrial lifeforms.

When the Maginot crew awaken in 2120 with months still remaining before Earth orbit, Teng is responsible for monitoring the ship's navigation systems as communications fail, fuel reserves begin to collapse and the crew realise that something aboard the vessel is very wrong. As sabotage, escaped specimens and mounting paranoia tear through the ship, Teng becomes caught in the disaster that ultimately sends the Maginot toward Prodigy City.
